How to build your brand with your business that is the real question everyone keeps asking. Building your own personal brand with your business is absolutely needed. Whether your in a network marketing company, direct sales, or you’re selling your own personal products or services building a brand is key to success!

What Does Building A Brand Mean?

Building a brand means bringing awareness to others on social media about your business, goals, and strategies to create an image around your brand and what it is going to be. You want to have a positive brand that stands out in the crowd of others to draw in clients & prospects. Think of your brand as what you would want others to say about you when your not around. Your brand is your reputation and what people think of you and how you come across.

A successful brand needs to be consistent in many ways:

  • Online Business
  • Content
  • Website
  • Brand Colors
  • Products & Services
  • Customer Service
  • Consistency

Your brand is defined by your products services & the audience or customers you’re wanting to attract.

Your brand should be you. You are your face of the brand which will help get others to Know, Like, & Trust you with the content and value you bring to them. You will build the brand around your face and your products or services you have to offer.

Now this does not mean blasting your products all over social media, this means you want to think about the audience you want to attract to your products or services and you will than bring valuable content to them for free to help you grow your audience and how they will begin to like your content and you as a person.

Brand Strategy

Brand Strategy will map out how you are different, trustworthy, memorable, and likable by your ideal customer. It will show your purpose, promises, and how you solve problems for people.

This is going to be what you will do first when starting to grow your brand. This is going to be how you want the world to view and see your brand.

When you think about brand strategy you need to think of Brand discovery, Brand voice, Brand Message, The Brand Story or your story of the brand ( Remember the brand is you ), & your target audience.

Before you worry about the website, brand colors, and brand design you want to figure out the steps I mentioned above first. If you jump just to the brand colors and design you won’t have a clue who your audience is and what type of content you will be bringing to your audience.

Brand Identity

Brand Identity is the way that you show this to the public with visuals, messaging, and experience. Your brand strategy will influence how you present your identity and align it with your purpose for the most impact. You want to make sure that your brand is positive and brings value to your audience.

When people think of my personal brand they think of motivation, positivity and valuable. They see me as someone who helps others for free and someone who wants to help others create a life they love & deserve. Think about how you want to be identified.

When I market I am marketing positivity, my life, my family, my goals, and then bring value to them about growing an online business, and creating income from home for their families. I am never just selling selling. Of course in order to make money we have to do some type of selling along the way but we don’t do it blasting it all over with our companies name.

We do it by branding ourselves so people begin to Know, Like, & Trust us which in turn has your audience willing to buy from people they like, and trust rather than strangers.

Being vulnerable with your audience and having content they can relate to will help you build relationships with your audience.

This will help build your brand with your business.

A Brand Your Ideal Audience Will Love

I want you to determine what the purpose of your brand will be. Make sure it has a very powerful purpose and what your trying to bring to them. Have your brand be something your so passionate about that will have you loving waking up every single morning to work on it, & to allow you to grow.

When defining your brand ask yourself these questions:

  • What makes you and your brand different?
  • What problems can you solve for your audience?
  • Why should people care & like your brand?
  • How are you going to bring free value to them?

You want to use the info you come up with to be your voice and message of the brand. What is your brands true story. People buy from people rather than just products. They want to buy from someone who brings value and impacts them for free.

You want to have a mission to help as many people as you can for free before they ever buy anything from you.

For me I am in the health & wellness, and I help others grow a business online but if you go to my Facebook page you won’t see me blasting my company all over and selling every product we have. You will see me bringing FREE value to my audience about growing an online business, marketing myself, and my family so my audience can relate to me on a personal level and know who I am as a person. ( My brand is myself ).

Attraction marketing is huge when trying to grow your business and I encourage everyone to build their brand around themselves to attract clients and prospects.
